Chesterfield man set to appear on Ninja Warrior UK this weekend

A retired firefighter from Chesterfield is set to appear on ITV's Ninja Warrior UK this weekend.

Lud Ramsey will feature in show one of the new series of the hit show, which will be shown on ITV on Saturday night.

The 58-year-old works part time at Spireites Gym and has lived in the town since 2014.

Ninja Warrior sees participants take on what has been dubbed "the toughest obstacle course on TV."

Hostend by Ben Shephard, Rochelle Humes and Chris 'Kammy' Kamara, the new series kicks off on ITV at 6.30pm tomorrow (Saturday) night.
