A TOP privately-owned golf club in Horsley has scored a hole in one with a new general manager.

Luke Gregory has been appointed GM at Horsley Lodge, where he will take control of the day-to-day running of the country house hotel and restaurant.

Devon-born Luke has worked in the hotel industry for almost 15 years. He said: “Horsley Lodge has gained a considerable reputation within the golf sector, and it’s a very exciting time to join.

“With it being a privately owned business, I’m delighted to have autonomy to create opportunities to improve what we do here.”

Richard Salt, co-owner of Horsley Lodge, said: “I’m delighted and thrilled Luke has joined us. He has an excellent track record and has the ambition to improve all we offer here.”

The club has also just appointed Kevin Lock as its new golf professional.
