Residents are being invited to give their views on a proposed masterplan for Belper Parks Local Nature Reserve.
In October 2012 Amber Valley Borough Council carried out a public consultation exercise, which involved the sending of more than 300 questionnaires to random households in the vicinity of Belper Parks.
The results have been used to produce a draft masterplan, which will be used as the basis for further consultation.
Now, at a drop-in session on Monday, March 18 at St. John’s Chapel, The Butts, Belper residents are invited to call in and give their thoughts.
Officers from Amber Valley Borough Council along with representatives of Groundwork and Derbyshire Wildlife Trust are in attendance to answer questions.
Martin Tomlinson, Cabinet Member for Green & Thriving Places to Live said: “The council values the contribution that local residents have made to the recent development of Belper Parks.” For further information call Landscape Services on 01773 841504.
