Duffield Cricked Club are celebrating this week after receiving a £500 donation from NatWest.
The club has a history with the bank as in April NatWest staff from around Derbyshire carried out a wide range of tasks as part of their CricketForce programme, including painting fences and revamping the sight screens to get the ground ready for the start of the season.
Now as part of the bank’s Community Cashback Award scheme, they have made a £500 donation to the club. Dave Graham, director of NatWest business development in Derby said: “NatWest is committed to investing in the community and, together with the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board), we recognise the huge contribution volunteers make to cricket. With this in mind, it was great to hand over £500 to help the club even further.”
This is the tenth year of Natwest’s CricketForce programme
