Derbyshire police probe theft of high-value bikes

Derbyshire police are investigating the theft of two high-value bikes.

Both the bikes were taken from homes in Chapel-en-le-Frith overnight between March 6 and March 7.

One bike, a Specialized Status 2020 mountain bike, was stolen between 10.30pm on March 6 and 8am the following day from a shed in Beckets Wood.

A second mountain bike, a Trek Fuel Ex 15 2015, was stolen from a shed in Netherfield Road between 1.30am and 11am on March 7.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Officers investigating the incident are asking for anyone who may have any information, in particular CCTV or dashcam footage, that may be able to help with their enquiries to get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the force with reference 21*130117 for the Trek bike stolen from Netherfield Road, and reference 21*129921 for the Specialized bike stolen from Beckets Wood.
