Firefighters called after blaze broke out in Derbyshire kitchen

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a property in Derbyshire last night after a fire started in a kitchen.

At 2.14am this morning (April 19) firefighters, officers and ambulance workers attended a kitchen fire at a domestic property in Crich.

Hoses were used by firefighters to get the blaze under control and put the fire firmly out.

All occupants from inside the home were ‘safely’ out of the property thanks to the help of neighbours, according to Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service.
