Tracey Slater, 43, of Elmton Road, Creswell: Guilty of stealing items to the value of £130 and £98.73 belonging to Tesco. Given a 12-month community order with a six-week electronic tag curfew from 7pm-7am, six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and rehabilitation activity days. Made to pay £130 compensation, made to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Sarah Bennett, 25, of Bullfinch Close, Belper: Guilty of dangerous driving, damaging a Citreon C4 Grand Picasso and a Ford Transit van. Given a 12-month community order with a 10-week electronic tag curfew from 7pm-7am, 12 rehabilitation activity days and a 24-month driving ban. Made to pay £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Anna Layton, 34, of Main Street, Scarcliffe: Guilty of sending a Facebook post that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character. Given 100 hours’ unpaid work, a 12-month community order and a two-year restraining order. Made to pay £150 compensation and £85 court costs.

Marcus Mitchell, 25, of Kingsley Crescent, Alfreton: Guilty of two counts of assault, driving without a licence and no insurance. Given community order with 100 hours’ unpaid work. Made to pay £100 compensation, £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Driving record endorsed with six points.

Daniel Benjafield, 21, of Hartington Road, Spital: Guilty of driving above the alcohol limit, driving without insurance, driving without a licence, aggravated vehicle taking and driving while unfit through drugs. Given 12-month community order, 10-week electronic tag curfew from 7pm-7am, 12 rehabilitation activity days and two 12-month concurrent driving bans. Daniel Oliver, 26, of Cheedale, Fairfield, Buxton: Guilty of driving with 49 micrograms of cocaine in blood – above the specified limit, possession of 0.84 grams of cannabis, failing to stop for police, driving without insurance and a licence and committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order. Fined £240, made to pay £34 victim surcharge, £85 court costs and given a 20-month driving ban.

Paul Tilson, 42, of Dale Road, Buxton: Guilty of stealing £161.30 belonging to High Peak Borough Council. Given community order with six rehabilitation activity days, made to pay compensation of £461, £90 victim surcharge and £100 court costs.

Craig White, 24, of Garden Crescent, South Normanton: Guilty of attempting to communicate with a person under 16 for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification and making an indecent image. Sent to Nottingham Crown Court for sentence.

John Haystead, 54, of High Street, Clay Cross: Guilty of attending an address while prohibited by a non-molestation order, breaching a restraining order and committing a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order.
