A drug dealer has been jailed for more than two years.
Lee Butler was sentenced to 26 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to possessing heroin with the intent to supply.
Officers were patrolling Chesterfield on August 3 last year and saw what they believed to be a drug deal taking place in Queen Street North, between Butler and a motorist.
They stopped Butler and found he was carrying a large amount of the class A drug heroin.
The 37-year-old, of Shaw Street, Chesterfield, was sentenced at Derby Crown Court last Wednesday.
