Missing Derbyshire teenager found 'safe and well'

A teenager who was reported missing from her home in Derbyshire last night has now been found ‘safe and well’ according to police.

The force shared an appeal in the evening on Wednesday, May 5, urging the public to help them find Katy Brandle after she was last seen in Ilkeston at around 8.15am on Tuesday, May 4.

Officers then confirmed that the 16-year-old had been located ‘safe and well’ a few hours later.

Derbyshire police also thanked the community for sharing the appeal.
