Police promise patrols to tackle ‘unacceptable’ spate of anti-social behaviour in Derbyshire town

Officers have slammed the ‘unacceptable’ behaviour of a gang of youths in a Derbyshire town.

The Matlock Safer Neighbourhood Team have received a number of recent reports concerning anti-social behaviour on South Park Avenue, Darley Dale.

An SNT spokesperson said: “A group of youths have been reported to be throwing stones at a property and targeting the residents.

“This behaviour is unacceptable and we are urging people on the street to report any issues with anti-social behaviour. If you have CCTV please get in touch using the below methods.

“The team will carry on patrolling the area during shifts and around other commitments.”
