Thieves strike at Belper home

Police are appealing for information after thieves struck at a home in Belper.

Sometime between 8am on Saturday, May 30 and 6pm on Monday, June 1, offenders smashed the conservatory window of a property on Hall Farm Road.

Once inside, thieves searched the home and made off with cash, collectors coins and jewellery, including two pearl necklaces.

Police have only just released details about the crime.
