A woman was punched in the face by a man during an incident in a Derbyshire town centre.

The incident occurred in Long Eaton between 3.00am and 3.42am on Saturday, September 9. A woman was walking along High Street when a man jogged up to her and punched her in the face.

He is described as being white, around 6ft tall and with long dark brown hair in a ponytail.
