EAGER folks strapped on their dancing shoes in Milford and helped raise more than £450 for charity.

Milford’s Maids of the Mill organised the dance event as part of the Water Aid Big Ceilidh, which saw dancers taking part across the country.

Held at Nealies in the village, 83 people turned up to join in the fun.

Joanne Morris, of the Maids, said: “It seems that a great time was had by all! Thankyou to Water Aid Derbyshire for helping organise it.”

A raffle, featuring prizes donated by local businesses, raised £110 towards the total.
