Delighted Florence celebrates her 100th birthday with family
A much-loved woman celebrated her 100th birthday on Valentine’s Day with a party and a card from the Queen.
Florence Goodall, of Bakewell Cottage Nursing Home, left school at 14 and started work as a machinist specialising in bespoke shirt-making.
Gale Walters, of the care home, said Florence’s spirit defies her years.
