almost 5,000 people have signed up to a Facebook page dedicated to the memory of the four children killed in the house fire in Hulland Ward.
Tommy Henson, nine, Alisha Henson-Nulty, six, Rocco Henson-Nulty, four, and Appolonia Henson, two, died in the blaze at their home on Highfield Road.
Their mum, Rachel Henson, 45, survived the fire on the night of Monday, January 24.
The small community of Hulland Ward has been hit hard by the tragedy and flowers have been left at the scene and at the hairdressing salon Rachel runs in Ashbourne.
Now, the memorial page, ‘R.I.P Rachel Henson’s Children’, on the social networking site is swelling with numbers and on Monday evening had 4,713 members.
Hundreds of well-wishers had left messages on the group’s ‘wall’ expressing their sorrow at the tragedy.
One wrote: ‘My thoughts and prayers are with Rachel and her little darlings.’
Another said: ‘Thoughts go to the family at this sad time. RIP four little angels.’
While another mourner wrote: ‘God bless you. Our thoughts are with you. RIP four little sweethearts.’
One woman added: ‘RIP little angels, my thoughts are with the family.’
