A CRAFT fair was held in Belper’s Central Methodist Church hall on Saturday.
Organiser Jeanette Parsons said: “We had a really good turn out and we were busy all day. We are doing a flower festival weekend over the May Bank Holiday and a wedding fair on the Monday. We did this fair to raise funds for the festival.”
There was a wide variety of stalls including jewellery, gift hampers, cards, Christian art and body and nail art, handmade scarves and baby blankets, glassware and ‘shabby chic’ home interiors as well as candles in vintage cups and saucers.
One stall specialised in doll house miniatures, while Derbyshire Treasure Trails was selling maps for orienteering walks at another. A blacksmith displayed doorknockers and pokers and gates, while a woodturner showcased wares including bowls and bottle stoppers.
