CHRISTMAS came early for Fritchley Primary School as its annual festive fair raised more than £1,500.
The event was organised by the Friends of Fritchley Primary School, with all the funds going towards the school’s building project.
More than 20 stalls were arranged along with a barbecue, home-made refreshments and a Victoria sponge cake competition, as well as Jumicars, where kids raced around a playground circuit in electronic cars.
Also, Derby County mascot Rammie was on hand to meet and greet visitors.
School administrator Sue Whitehead said: “We had a fantastic time.
“A good day was had by everyone.”
