A teenager is staging a murder mystery night as part of his fundraising for a charity trip to the Himalayas.
Nathan Shipsides, 15, will journey to the Spitti Valley, India next summer to help renovate a children’s classroom.
Before then he needs to raise more than £3,200 to fund the trip and is inviting people to a fundraiser at the Lion Hotel on Friday, July 5.
The murder mystery night is being performed by GCSE drama students from Belper School, where Nathan attends.
Nathan has also so far been involved in organising a fashion show, curry night, quiz night, sweet stall, and a disco.
The price for the evening is £17.50 which includes a three course meal and dancing until midnight after the mystery has been solved.
