A NEW course aimed at professional and voluntary groups focusing on the effects of second-hand smoking is to be held in Belper.
Smoke Free Homes and Cars is a new initiative being launched across Derbyshire and Derby, which sees Derbyshire Action on Smoking offering free training to such organisations.
The training aims to provide knowledge on the effects of second-hand smoke, including details on the aims of the initiative.
It also aims to help build confidence in talking about Smoke Free Homes and Cars.
The afternoon session will take place at Babington Hospital, Derby Road, Belper, on Thursday, October 13.
Other sessions will be held in Alfreton and Egginton.
