Holbrook producer wins top award for documentary work

A Holbrook woman has collected an international award for her documentary work.

Emma Morley won a FOCAL award for “Best Use of Footage in a Home Entertainment Release” during a presentation night hosted by Dan Snow at the Lancaster London Hotel, near Hyde Park.

Ms Morley, who grew up in Belper and previously worked as Producer’s Assistant on Carlton TV’s locally made drama Peak Practice received the accolade for a two disc DVD which affectionately looks back at Midlands’ independent regional news, From Headlines to ‘Tight-Lines’ – The Story of ATV Today which she produced with the The Media Archive for Central England.
