ten regulars at a Belper pub were right on cue with a 24-hour pool marathon for charity.
Members of the Hop Inn’s A and B pool teams played a variety of games during a monster session at Easter.
Their efforts raised more than £1,000 for Help for Heroes, with the pot being boosted by a table-top sale last weekend.
Landlady Sharon Towndrow said: “It was brilliant, but very tiring afterwards!
“Also, a big thankyou to Amanda, Anne and Ellie for all their help.”
The ten players were Sharon, her husband Dave Towndrow, John Milford, father and son Pete and Keil Haywood, uncle and nephew Craig and Liam Shepard, Nick Childs, Ryan Wigley and Andy Watson.
