Firefighters were called to a Derbyshire house after the cooker caught on fire last night (January 31).

Crews from the Ilkeston and Heanor stations went to Douglas Avenue in Heanor after reports of the fire.

A service spokesman said this was a small fire in a cooker which had already been put out when the crews arrived.

The stop message was received at 8.15pm.
