Hundreds braved the cold weather and flocked to Denby’s annual Christmas food and gift fair last weekend.
The event held at Denby Pottery, welcomed visitors to indulge in a selection of food and drink, and to spend time choosing from the range of gifts for the perfect Christmas present.
Santa Claus himself stopped by to see the children, while his wife Mrs Claus spent some time reading stories to the youngsters.
There were also ready-wrapped Christmas gifts for the kids – this year each present was a cuddly toy.
The event on December 4, 5 and 6 also featured a festive performance by the Belcanto Chorus on both Saturday and Sunday.
Denby Pottery retail director Gary Capell said the event was growing each year.
He said: “The Denby Pottery Christmas food and gift fair has been very successful and is growing year on year.
“We are delighted that the windy weather conditions did nothing to stop people turning out for the event – it was still very well attended.
“The fair is a popular hit with local residents but also those from further afield.
“We had 13 coaches over the weekend, of people travelling to the centre for a day trip. We welcome everyone and thank them for taking the time to come and see us.”
