Ignoring signs
MOTORISTS have been warned to comply with road closures after numerous people have driven into difficulties.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service reported that drivers throughout Derbyshire have ignored ‘road closed’ signs or luminous tape and attempted driving through extremely deep flood water.
A spokesman said: “As a result their cars are cutting out leaving motorists stranded.”
Drivers are urged to take road closures seriously to prevent this sort of incident.
