AN AMBERGATE boy got the ultimate lift home last week in the only Bianco white 2004 Ferrari 360 Spider in the UK.
Louis Street, ten, attends Old Vicarage School in Darley Abbey, and his parents put in a bid for the ride at its charity ball.
“I felt like James Bond,” said Louis. “Even though it was windy and threatening rain we had the roof down and roared all the way home. Mum and I were so excited I forgot to go to my piano lesson when I got in!”
The money raised will support Rainbows Children’s Hospice and Derbyshire Community Foundation charities. As for the car, it is on sale in the forecourt of Benz Bavarian in Duffield, who provided the prize.
Felix Frixou, managing director at Benz Bavarian, said: “We were delighted to give Louis this special treat.
“It’s many a schoolboy’s dream to have an experience in a car like this.”
