ANIMAL rescue centre staff are keeping their fingers crossed that someone will be quick off the mark to fall in love with Zebo the whippet.

Zebo is being featured in the News’ Rescue Me feature this week. We have teamed up with the RSPCA animal shelter in Abbey Street, Derby, in a bid to find homes for unwanted pets.

Staff say Zebo is a very handsome whippet who is about 17 months old. He ended up at the centre after his owners could no longer care for him. Staff say he would be happy in a home where any children were aged over seven. He is also fine with other dogs, they say.

A spokesman said: “He is a bouncy energetic boy that loves going for long walks and playing fetch with his ball.”

Anyone who can offer Zebo a loving home can call the shelter on 01332 344620.
