Kilburn woman up for drug dealing charges after police raid

Police have charged a woman with drugs offences following a raid in Kilburn.

A 28-year-old -woman was arrested after being found at home with an amount of class A and B drugs in her possession.

Officers of Derbyshire Constabulary executed a warrant at a property on Tuesday, March 3 at a house on Meadow Court, Kilburn,

They also seizes drug paraphinalia, mobile phones and cash during the search of the house.

Tammy Dickinson, of 16 Meadow Court, was charged with being concerned in the control of Class A and Class B drugs.

She was also charged with possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.

Ms Dickinson appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on Wednesday, March 4 and is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court at a later date.

Sergeant Neil Hopwell from the Kilburn Safer Neighbourhood Team said the arrest was a mutual effortbe by local teams.

He added: “This was a team approach between Kilburn, Belper and Ripley Safer Neighbourhood officers, alongside the Operational Support Team and Derwent Living Housing.

“This result highlights that drugs activity will not be tolerated in our community and we will work hard to bring those responsible to justice.

“We’re encouraging local residents to report suspected drugs activity to us, as we do act on the intelligence that they provide to help crack down on this behaviour.”
