Pleaded guilty and proved in absence that being the driver of a vehicle on Matlock Road, Belper, and owing to the presence of which an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle he failed to report the accident to police. Must pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with five points.

Richard Nathan Wallis, 34, of Ecclesbourne Close, Water Lane, Wirksworth. Pleaded guilty to failing to stop a vehicle he was driving on Park Road, at Ilkeston, on being required to do so by police. Arthur Samuel Middleton, 70, of Skeavingtons Lane, Ilkeston. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £120 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driver’s licence for 14 months.

Haig Bradley Meads, 26, of Tunnicliffe Court, Cotmanhay, Ilkeston. Admits failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend with a responsible officer. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offence which was subject to a community order of stealing products belonging to Live and Let Live One Stop Shop, on Charlotte Street, Ilkeston. Must pay £60 costs. Dealt with for the original offence of failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months with a Drug Rehabilitation Requirement and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement.

Mitchell Joseph Waby, 23, of Conway Street, Long Eaton. Admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend with the responsible officer. Order to continue but varied with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement of up to two days and original requirements are to continue including existing Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and unpaid work. Must pay £60 costs.

Adam Nicholas Fox, 29, of no fixed abode. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge. Pleaded guilty to pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to harassment by constantly sending text messages and turning up at an address. Committed to prison for nine weeks. Restraining order to last until June 7, 2020. Admitted committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge order for 12 months imposed for a theft from a shop. No action taken on the breach.
