Laureate to appear at Oxfam bookshop

As part of its book festival Belper Oxfam bookshop on King Street will pay host to Derbyshire Laureate, Matt Black on July 17 from 6.30pm. He will be reading some of his poetry and talking about his life as a laureate. There will be a number of poetry books for sale as well as Oxfam’s usual stock.

There will also be a children’s art competition, with prizes, and a sealed auction bid for a very rare old bible.
