Eight-year-old Lauren decided to have nine inches cut off her hair to donate to the Little Princess Trust charity, which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair to cancer.
Lauren had her hair cut at the Conrad Blandford Hairdressing in Sheffield. Staff there said they thought she was absolutely amazing.
Lauren’s mum Sarah, said: “We are proud of the fact that she wanted to do it and has raised £800 for charity so far. Lots of people have donated including her friends from school, teachers and family.”
Her proud grandad Chris Bailey, said: “She came up with the idea herself because she wanted to help other children. I am very proud of her.”
