Belper Town Council have announced that it will be staging another food festival later this year - following the growing popularity of the Belper Food Festival.
Around 12,000 people turned up on the day for the latest instalment of the annual summer event with music across four stages, a beer festival, crafts, a classic car show and, of course, lots of food from 140 different stalls.
Over the last ten years the festival has become a firm summer fixture in the town and attracts more people every year.
Now, the town council are branching out and are staging a similar event in the winter, although they stress that the Christmas version will be on a smaller scale.
The date for the inaugural event is Sunday, December 6.
Interested traders are asked to fill in an application form via the council’s website, with demand expected to be high.
