A new addition to the Denby Pottery Village arrives next week - with plenty of delicacies on offer.

The Denby Farm Shop will open its doors on Thursday, March 10 and will be managed by award-winning craft butchers Walter Smith.

The new shop will be dedicated to stocking high-quality produce including artisan bread, fresh cream cakes, charcuterie, olives, wine and a wide selection of cheeses, with everything sourced from trusted suppliers.

The best cuts of British meat will also be prepared on site, by Walter Smith’s skilled team of butchers, to produce everything from sausages and roasting joints to steaks and pies.

Robert Jones, Director for Walter Smith said: “A farm shop with an award-winning craft butchery is something rather special.

“We shall be offering a range of exceptional quality fresh and cooked meats, award winning pies and ready meals, fresh local bread baked daily, fruit and vegetables, jams, pickles and so much more!

“At our tasting days at Denby, customers were able to come and sample our award-winning pork pie.

“The response from customers was extremely positive.

“We look forward with excitement to the Farm Shop opening.”

Walter Smith will be holding tasting sessions of their award winning Pork Pies in the Denby Homestore every Saturday leading up to the opening.

Gary Capell, Retail Director for Denby, said: “We’re really excited to be opening a farm shop at the Denby Pottery Village.

“It’s going to add a great new dynamic to the site.”

The shop will stage a formal opening on Friday, April 1.
