A NURSERY nurse sat in a bath full of spaghetti hoops to help raise £220 for a children’s charity.
Samantha Beacon, who works at Alton Manor Day Nursery, Gregory’s Way, Belper, was helping raise cash for Barnardo’s.
It was all part of the nursery’s Hallowe’en party, which also saw youngsters dress up as witches, devils and spiders. There was also a hot buffet and disco.
Nursery manager Kirstie Rock said: “It was great to see all of our families having such good fun, and being able to raise money for Barnardo’s at the same time was fantastic. We will definitely be making this an annual event — although I’m not sure Samantha would be so eager!”
