Louis, who works as a general labourer said: “Hannah was in the hospital in the days just before the birth, it was a little bit scary but we knew we were in the right place if anything went wrong.
"It just didn’t feel like Christmas at all that Christmas night after Holly was born. I wasn’t allowed to stay over, as it was an all women ward. It felt really weird leaving them in there and going home.
"It only felt like Christmas kicked in when they both came out of hospital the following day, and my mum and dad had specially held over their Christmas dinner to Boxing Day.”

Louis added: "Hannah and the baby are both doing really well. It is great being a dad, although its a little bit daunting at times, it’s all normal for the baby but it’s all quite new and different for us and there is a lot to learn!”
The baby is Louis’s parents’ first grandchild and Hannah’s parents’ Teresa and Mark Massey second grandchild.
