PHOTO GALLERY: Adventurer Bear Grylls meets scouts during Derbyshire visit
Celebrating his reappointment as Chief Scout, Grylls dropped in at Gradbach Scout Campsite in Quarnford, where over 350 young people from across the High Peak were taking part in an activity weekend camp.
The television star then flew on by helicopter to Lea Green Learning and Development Centre near Matlock where cub scouts were taking part in an adventure day.

Hide AdGrylls said he was proud to be reappointed as Chief Scout, a position he has held since 2009.
He said: “Between now and 2018 I plan to do all that I possibly can to help the movement to continue to grow, become more reflective of the communities in which it works in and change the lives of even more young people.”
Alex, a Cub Scout from Matlock, Lea Holloway, said: “It’s been really exciting meeting the Chief Scout Bear Grylls as he is an idol of mine and many other cub scouts.”
Over the course of the day, Grylls flew into four other events in Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire.
