Fun for all the family was on offer at Crich Tramway Village as they hosted their Wonderful Woods week.
The annual event took place between August 10 and 14, with a variety of activities from mini beast hunts to willow weaving.
The event offers families the chance to explore the amazing woodland areas at Crich and craft a little piece to take home with them too.
Jan Barratt, learning manager for the complex, says the event offers plenty for people of all ages and that the turnout was high.
She said: “We hold this event all week and there’s so much going on that we’ll often see people with week passes come back two or three times.
“The event focus on the woodland trail and it allows people of all ages to find out bits.
“We also had a basket weaver who came for three days while there was storytelling inside a special belltent, with lots of cushions for extra comfort.
“There was also a ‘Woody’s Wings’ which focuses on different types of birds.”
Other events on offer included clay modelling, wind chimes, as well as a special hunt by youngsters for wish-trees.
Jan added: “We always try and hold the event in the middle of the summer holidays, and it’s a lovely event.”
