Dogs of all shapes and sizes took part in the RSPCA Big Walkies at Holmebrook Valley Park on Sunday.

Pooches and their owners stepped out, on a 3k or 5k walk, to raise funds for charity.

The walk - held in partnership with Vitality health and life insurance - included a 3k or 5k walk.

RSPCA branch manager Rachel Gray said: “We are a nation of animal lovers and this is a great opportunity to make lots of new doggy friends - and human ones too.”

Some of the RSPCA’s star rescue dogs also took part in Big Walkies.
