Police tell 'drink driver' on A38 to 'start looking for a paper round'

Derbyshire Roads Police have told a 'drink driver' who asked if their job as a lorry driver might be in danger to "look for a paper round".

This comes after the driver who was pulled over on the A38 earlier today (April 7) blew 87mcg of alcohol in breath, over the legal limit of 35mcg.

A spokesman said: "Yet another driver quite happy to drive around under the influence. Poor standard of driving seen, stopped and provides reading of 87.

"Unbelievably driver asks “Will I lose my job as a lorry driver?” Start looking for a paper round Sir."
