Showjumpers in Belper have handed over £200 to help keep the air ambulance flying over the town’s skies.

Members of the South Trent Pony Club presented the cash following a grand ball. The same amount was also presented to the Derby Breast Cancer Unit, based at the Royal Derby Hospital.

Richard Fletcher, Community Representative for the Derbyshire Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA), said: “I was delighted to be presented with the cheque from Andrea Fretwell from the South Trent Pony Club. DLRAA relies entirely on donations. “Left to Right: Alice Hobbs, Evie Smith, Richard Fletcher, Olivier Holmes and Lauren Hill.
