PINTS were pulled at the Hunters Arms in Kilburn to launch the Amber Valley Ripley Rail Ale Festival of 2011.

The event, held at Amber Valley’s CAMRA pub of the year, enticed Mayor councillor Ron Ashton to bend the elbow.

He said: “Well done for organising a beer festival in Amber Valley. There are many micro-breweries within the Amber Valley region and I recognise the importance of supporting these in the area, which the beer festival will do.”

The Ripley Rail Ale Festival is being held at Midland Railway Centre, Butterley Station, Ripley, Derbyshire from the 29 September to 2 October 2011.
