The Belper Steam and Vintage Event, which had been re-scheduled due to torrential weather, drew hundreds to Denby at the weekend.
Organisers had to battle to put together a programme after exhibitors, including a Hurricane flypast, falconry display and a brass band cancelled when the event was put off due to poor weather in June.
However, new attractions including showmans’ engines, a gun dog display and an unexploded bomb skit helped ensure a fun-packed time.
Chairman of the rally, Terry Mellor, said: “We lost some exhibitors but gained some that went down really well and want to come again. We had really good gates , thankfully the weather was with us this time.”
