couples who attended a wedding open day at Shottle Hall could have been forgiven for doing a Royal double-take.
For they were joined at the event by lookalikes of Prince William and his bride-to-be Kate Middleton.
The Royal stand-ins — aka Andy Walker and Jodie Bredo — were invited to cut the ribbon at the open day at the hall near Belper.
They have been dubbed the best lookalikes in the country, thanks to their resemblance to the nation’s current favourite royal sweethearts who marry next month.
James Davis, of Shottle Hall, said: “It was great having Andy and Jodie to open the event. They caused heads to turn all day long because they look so much like the real thing.”
Since the real Royal couple announced their engagement, Andy and Jodie have had countless appointments, including appearing on CBS News in America.
