STAFF at a foodstore in Duffield can label themselves as the ‘best’.
That is because they have scooped a customer service award entitled ‘The Best’.
The staff at the Co-op store, on Town Street, won the internal award as part of the retailer’s ‘Perfect Day’ campaign.
To win the award, the store had to deliver a perfect shopping experience for its customers, including aspects such as service, product availability and community involvement.
Tracey Healey, store manager, said: “Perfect Day is hard work, but great fun and generates healthy competition between managers, who all want their store to be the best. I’d like to thank my team for all the effort they put in on our Perfect Day and the effort they continually put into ensuring that we deliver excellent customer service every day.”
Staff will share £200 cash for winning the competition.
