A FUN-packed event will help Derwent Valley Mills celebrate ten years since its inscription on the Unesco World Heritage List.
So, on behalf of the other attractions within the World Heritage Site, the Arkwright Society is hosting an event at Cromford Mill to commemorate the milestone.
On Saturday, July 16, from 12pm to 4pm, the mill yard will be home to music, dancing, children’s craft workshops and art displays.
Community groups, schools and performers along the 15-mile length of the World Heritage Site have been invited.
Sarah McLeod, of the Arkwright Society, said: “It is an important day in the calendar for the Derwent Valley Mills and we want to celebrate in style.”
