THERE can be no ‘dis-GUY-sing’ the talents of the children at Ladybird Pre-School in Belper.
The youngsters at the Alton Road nursery made a Guy for a bonfire at the town’s Greyhound pub on Sunday, November 6.
It was made out of hay and paper and dressed in clothes donated by the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance charity shop in Belper.
The face was painted on by four-year-old Amy Harrison.
Bethan Woodfine, manager of the pre-school, reckoned the Guy looked a bit like football legend Kevin Keegan thanks to a dodgy perm!
But she praised the work the children did and also thanked the Greyhound for allowing the kids to bring the Guy along and enjoy the bonfire.
She said: “It was a fantastic event, which brought families and communities together.”
