Belper folk are invited to take part in a treasure hunt for adults - which aims to stimulate the brain and get people active in the great outdoors.
Amber Valley Village Games are hosting the RunChallenge event at Shipley Country Park, on Sunday, November 16, at 10am for a 10.30am start.
Using a simple map with a time limit of 45 minutes, competitiors need to get as many correct answers as possible.
Every correct answer earns points and competitors need to get back before the time runs out or they lose points for every minute they are late.
A spokesman for the organisers said everyone starts and finishes at the same time and place.
Beth Turner, from Amber Valley Village Games, said: “It’s a little bit different to pounding the pavements or running on the treadmill. It is a great way to socialise, be active and improve your fitness. All you need is a sense of adventure - so why not join forces with your friends and enter online?”
Teams are made up of four runners who can either enter individually online. Go to www.runchallenge.org.uk or call 07584904519.
