A ROCKING and rolling music and movement class with groups in Belper has celebrated its fifth birthday.
Twistin’ Tots, whose members are babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, got stuck into cake and jelly to commemorate the launch of the group in June 2006.
There were also prizes given out for the best fancy-dress costume.
Jacqui Davis, Twistin’ Tots leader, said: “I never thought when I started the Belper class five years ago that we would still be going strong five years later. It’s unbelievable where the time has gone, but it has been an enjoyable journey to get here.”
Twistin’ Tots classes aim to promote learning, co-ordination and movement in young children. Belper classes run on Tuesdays from 2pm to 3pm at the community hall on Bridge Street, and on Fridays from 9.45am to 10.45am and 11am to 11.45am in the Masonic Hall on Campbell Street.
