Members of Belper’s Chevin Singers choir have been busily preparing for three performances next month.
The group will perform at the Royal Derby Hospital on December 4 as part of a programme of arts to aid well-being.
Three days later, on December 7, the choir will entertain Belper’s U3A group at the Strutts Community Centre.
And in December they will join Rough Truffles choir at the Queen’s Head in Belper as part of a performance of Derbyshire Christmas songs from yesteryear, which choir leaders are hoping to establish as a tradition in the town.
The group is also searching for new members - particularly men who can sing as basses or tenors - to join their ranks.
We caught up with the group at the Strutts Centre on Tuesday, November 6 to video this practice session (above).
