People from across the region gathered in their thousands for Belper Food Festival at the weekend.
Food-lovers and party-goers gathered in the town to enjoy not only a range of stalls, including real ale, cheeses, meats and cakes, but also a wide spectrum of music and dancer and even a classic car exhibition.
Councillor John Nelson, leader of Belper Town Council, said the day was absolutely fantastic.
He added: “It just gets better and better - it just seems like more and more people come every year.
“The weather was atrocious to begin with but him upstairs was good to us for the rest of the day.
“I think word has spread about the festival over the years and now it’s just on people’s calendars.”
John said the festival took an incredible amount of hard work to organise and was a credit to Belper Town Council.
