Volunteers needed to help fire service

The fire service is reaching out to Dales residents to become volunteers.

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service currently has 50 volunteers and is looking to recruit more.

Volunteers will be assigned a range of activities such as working with the safety crew delivery team, evening prevention talk team, summer outreach activity team and working as an evaluation outreach volunteer.

More information on volunteering is available by visiting the fire service website www.derbys-fire.gov.uk/volunteers.

Alternatively, contact Helen Marriott, DFRS volunteer coordinator, on 07787 266392 Monday to Wednesday, or call into a local volunteer ventre or CVS.
